Introducing Run External Crons

I’ve just released my new WordPress plugin, Run External Crons.

Why this plugin? WordPress own cron is known for having issues in terms that it doesn’t run somewhere, leaving scheduled posts unpublished, backups not done, newsletters not sent, etc. Setting up crons on server is not user friendly task, and some hosts even don’t offer full cron support.

That’s where this plugins comes. If you have multiple WordPress sites, you can setup real cron on just one, install this plugin on it, and setup crons for others through it. You can actually setup for any type of cron, not just from WordPress.

Read plugin’s documentation for more information.
